【摘要】:Thistechnicalreportappliestoequipmentinterfaces.Theseinterfaceswithintheequipmentmaybeconnectedtotelecommunicationnetworks,mayformpartofthetelecommunicationnetworkinfrastructureormayprovidelocalizedtransferofdata.ThistechnicalreportprovidesguidanceontheclassificationofinterfacesinaccordancewiththecircuittypesdefinedinIEC60950-1andIEC60950-21followingananalysisofthetelecommunicationnetworkcharacteristics.Thistechnicalreportonlycoversequipmentappropriatelyinterconnected.Furthermore,itdoesnotaddressdamagecausedbyoneequipmenttoanotherequipmenttowhichitisconnected.Exceptionally,interfacesmaybedesignedforhigherorlowerlevelsforspecialapplications.Insuchcasesitshouldbeensuredthatonlyinterfaceshavingthesamesafetycategoryandprotectionlevelareconnectedtogether.Thisisbasedontheavailablespecificationsoftheequipmentmanufacturersandnetworkproviders,andoninformationregardingtheinstallationcategoryofthemainsinterface.Thistechnicalreportisintendedtobeusedbyequipmentdesigners,networkoperators,networkregulators/authorities,standardswritersandnetworkinstallers.Itisapplicabletovariousinterfacesofequipment.NetworkpresentationsarenotequipmentandsoarenotcoveredbyIEC60950-1andIEC60950-21;hencetheyarealsonotcoveredbythistechnicalreport.However,itisnecessarytoconsiderthecharacteristics,installationandpresentationoftelecommunicationnetworkswhendeterminingwhatequipmentinterfacerequirementsapply(forexample,SELVcircuit,TNV-1circuit,TNV-2circuit,TNV-3circuitetc.).IfastandardotherthanIEC60950-1orIEC60950-21isusedfordesigningtheequipmentanditsinterface(forexample,IEC62151inconjunctionwithotherproductsafetystandards),thenthecorrespondingrequirementsoftheseotherstandardsaretobepreferred.Ifthereisaconflictbetweenthistechnicalreportandamoredetailedspecification,thelatterprevails.Thistechnicalreportappliesregardlessofownershiporresponsibilityforinstallationandmaintenanceoftheequipmentornetwork.NOTETerminalequipmentisoftenconnectedtocustomerpremisescablingwhenusedinabusinessenvironment,andtherearestandardscoveringsuchcabling.
