【摘要】:TheserequirementscoverSchedule40andSchedule80extrudedrigidPVC(polyvinylchloride)electricalconduitandfittingsconsistingofelbowsandotherbendsmadefromandforusewiththisconduit.Theyalsocovercouplings,adapters,expansionjoints,andsimilarfittingsthatareconstructedofrigidPVC.Thedesignations"Schedule40"and"Schedule80"refertoUSAtradesizesofconduithavingiron-pipe-sizeoutsidediametersandspecificwallthicknesses.Couplings,adapters,expansionjoints,andsimilarfittingsareintendedtobeusedwithbothheavy-wallandthin-wallrigidPVCconduit,elbows,andotherbendsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode(NEC),NFPA70.
