【摘要】:Thisdocumentappliestovisorsdesignedspecificallytobefittedtoand/orusedwithhelmetsconformingtoEN443whenusedbyfirefighters,orhelmetswhichconformtoEN443orprEN14052whenusedbyambulanceandemergencyservices,asthesituationdictates.Theyareintendedtoprovideprotectionagainstthevarioushazardsexpectedtobeencounteredinfirefighting,ambulanceandemergencyserviceduties,exceptrespiratory,smoke,andgas/vapourhazards.Threetypesofvisoraredescribedinthisdocument.Oneprovidesprotectionagainstgeneralhazards;thesecondadditionallyprovidesprotectionagainstheatandflame.Thethirdtypeofvisorincorporatesmeshoculars,andisintendedforuseinverylimitedcircumstances.Thisdocumentalsodescribestwoformsforallthreetypesofvisors;faceguardsthatprovidebotheyeandfaceprotection;eyeguardsthatareshorterandeffectivelyprovideonlyeyeprotection.Therequirementsofthisdocumentdonotapplytovisorsintendedforusewithoutahelmet.SuchrequirementsaregiveninEN166.Visorswithcorrectiveeffectareexcludedfromthescopeofthisdocument.
