【摘要】:Recyclingofdeterioratedasphaltpavementsisbeingusedwithincreasingfrequencyforitseconomyandbenefitofconservingrawmaterials.Theobjectiveofrecyclingistoreusethetwoingredientsofasphaltconcrete-aggregateandasphaltandtorestorethedesiredpropertiestothemixture.Recyclingiscarriedouthotorcold,dependingontheconditionofthedeterioratedpavement,constructionprocedure,availabilityofequipment,andcost.Thispracticeisforclassifyingrecyclingagentstobeusedinhotrecycling.1.1Thispracticecoversastandardizedmethodwherebypetroleumproductadditivestobeusedinhotrecyclingofasphaltconcretecanbeidentified.Theproductsareclassifiedbyviscosityincentistokesmeasuredat140176;F(60176;C).Thispracticedoesnotapplytoemulsifiedmaterials.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
